SECAD will be running a number of free Seminars during the week of Monday, 24th November in the Carrigaline Court Hotel, the Vienna Woods Hotel, Glanmire and the Old Imperial Hotel in Youghal.
The seminars are aimed at existing companies and sole traders, entrepreneurs and startups and developed specifically to boost business in the hospitality and food sectors. From taxi driving to jam making, the seminars are designed to help create and grow business opportunities in South and East Cork.

This seminar will highlight the potential of the tourism and heritage sector and will provide transport providers with a greater understanding of the potential of tourism for expanding their business.
Food Compliance for Beginners – Where to start?
An introductory overview will be provided to inform food businesses and producers about what they need to do and who to contact before preparing and serving food to the public. We all know the importance of food safety, so this seminar is an absolute necessity for a new food businesses or producers and also tourism providers dealing with food.
Managing Online Relationships with your Customers
An online presence for businesses is now essential. Participants will learn how to use online media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube to maximise representation in the online sphere and to deal with challenging reviews/feedback.
