September 27, 2017Hundreds of wanna-be elf helpers queue for Beyond’s Dancing with the Elves!
Nearly 600 twinkle-toed helpers queued for the opportunity to be part of Beyond at Fota Island Resort this week, at auditions for elf helpers held in The Kingsley.
Answering a call from a certain gentleman in red, hundreds of applicants patiently waited to dress up and impress as elf helpers at Beyond’s Dancing with the Elves, the auditions held for Beyond at Fota Island Resort, this year’s magical winter event for all the family.
Each winter the gorgeous woodlands at Fota Island Resort are transformed by Santa and his magical elf helpers into a dramatic and exciting Christmas experience for the whole family with tickets going on sale for this year on September 29th. The weekend’s busy auditions could see over 100 lucky elf helpers taken on to help deliver this highly individual and utterly unique event.
Dancing with the Stars contestant, Dayl Cronin was there on the day to MC, with Santa Claus assisted in the judging seat by 2FM’s Jennifer Zamparelli and Red FM’s Izzy Showbizzy and Colm O’Sullivan. The judges were impressed by the level of talent this year, meeting 17 toy makers, 12 gingerbread men bakers, 2 elf nutritionists and even a reindeer whisperer amongst the potential assistants!
Beyond at Fota Island Resort runs from the 23rd of November to the 23rd of December. Individual tickets for Beyond at Fota Island Resort cost from €10 to €16 per adult and €15 to €26 per child, depending on dates and times, with children under one free, and tickets will be available from 29th September on www.fotabeyond.ie.
