East Cork Early Music Festival

Mall Arts Centre
11 October - 14 October

The 18th Century was a golden age for Irish classical music, when some of the world’s most renowned composers and instrumentalists visited or lived in Ireland. To revive the music of that era is to evoke a time when international music and Irish social gatherings were synonymous.

The East Cork Early Music Festival’s theme for 2016 ‘Irish connections’ will be celebrated both through the music performed and through the featured artists. The event will showcase Irish-born international stars of Early Music and Irish-based professional musicians, giving Irish students specialising in the study of Early Music in Ireland and abroad a chance to learn from the masters.

Tickets €50 per school . For booking and more information phone 087 959 3276
