Dublin-based four-piece band, Delorentos, have hit the road with a national tour of Ireland in support of their new album, Night Becomes Light. Their Saturday 22 November stop is in Ballymaloe Grainstore, Shanagarry, Co. Cork.
The band’s new single, Show Me Love, is currently Top 20 in the national airplay charts while the much acclaimed accompanying video was made by Spanish director Antoni Sendra.
Delorentos’ previous album, 2012’s self-released Little Sparks, received a rake of four and five star reviews and was described by Jim Carroll of The Irish Times as ‘The sound of a band who have found their musical and lyrical groove.’
Delorentos visited USA, Canada, Russia, Spain, Germany and France, performed some intimate acoustic shows in churches and theatres, set up one-day pop-up shops and finished 2013 with a triumphant sold-out Christmas show at Vicar Street in Dublin.
