A Culinary Dream with Tipperary Boutique Whiskey

Following the great excitement of The Whiskey Rebellion, J.J.Coppinger’s is delighted to announce another unique whiskey tasting event. Teaming up with Tipperary Boutique Distillery, the bar will celebrate both the creation of their first WHISKEY PAIRING MENU and the introduction of TIPPERARY BOUTIQUE DISTILLERY to their growing selection of whiskeys. East Cork’s premier whiskey bar will explore the unique flavour profiles and pairings of some of Cork’s finest food with one of Ireland’s most exciting boutique whiskeys.

Starting with the pairing of Tipperary ‘’Watershed’’ Single Malt with smoked salmon by Cobh’s Artisan, Frank Hederman. Then moving on to a bowl of Irish Stew served with cream and freshly chopped herbs paired with Tipperary Knockmealdown Whiskey. Finishing off with a whiskey infused homemade chocolate brownie.

Throughout the evening guest will be shown how the notes in whiskey can be enhanced or balanced by each food pairing.
The event will feature a cocktail special, entitled Tipperary Royale, prepared by Mark, J.J.Coppinger’s Head Mixologist. Mark will blend the Tipperary whiskey with clear apple juice, shaken over ice and strained into a highball, topped with chilled ginger ale and a squeeze of lime.

Music by The Jackdaw Sessions will entertain guests into the night.
Tickets are on sale online for €10pp and a certain amount is available to be purchased in J.J.Coppinger’s bar also. Each guest will be entered into a draw to win a signed bottle of Tipperary ‘’Watershed’’ Single Malt worth €60 RRP.
