This Week at Curraheen Park

This Friday night at Curraheen Park will see the final of The Barryroe GAA A5 525. Down to the final 6 dogs, they will battle it out this Friday night for the winning prize of €1,150 and a trophy. Barryroe GAA will be hosting their Buster on the night, with this being the feature race.

 The 49th Annual Guinness Trophy Final is set for Saturdays race card! The Guinness Trophy is one of our biggest stakes of the year and this year the favourite is Nicken Builder, owned and trained by Ken Deuce, closely followed by local runner Ryecourt Fox, owned and trained by Peggy Shannan. The Stake always brings a great following and with top class racing this Saturday night, it’s sure not to disappoint.

 The Curraheen Park A3 525 Stake is starting this Saturday night. The heats are set for this weekend with 24 entries and the Final will take place on March 2nd. There is €1,200 and a trophy up for grabs on the night of the final.

 This week we are delighted to welcome The Derby Winner Thomas The Tank will be paraded during the races and a Presentation will be made this Saturday night to the winning connections. Thomas The Tank enjoyed victory at this years Clonmel Coursing and won €35,000 at The Derby.

 Our Saturday Night Special sponsored by GOBA will run as usual this Saturday, with prize money of €350 for the winner on the night. The Harrington Assessors Getting Out Stakes will also feature on Saturdays race card with €430 prize money going to the winner.

Racing every Friday and Saturday night. Doors at 6.45 with first race at 7.50.
