Ring of Cork Titanic Tour 2026

Another super turnout as Ring of Cork hosted its second networking event of the year, this time in Cobh on the 14th April, the eve of the sinking of Titanic.

The event showcased the Titanic Trail Walking Tour, led by Dr. Michael Martin. It was a fantastic tour with fascinating factual stories of the RMS Titanic and RMS Lusitania and the maritime town. We came away with a better appreciation of the historical buildings and streetscape of Cobh. The group was then warmly welcomed by Jonathon Lee of The Last Drop, the impressive newly developed gastro pub, signalling a standout addition to Cobh’s hospitality scene.

Businesses in attendance included representatives from Midleton Distillery, Spike Island Tours, Cork Bike Hire, Passage West Maritime Museum, Fota Wildlife Park, Cork Harbour Boat Hire, Fota House & Gardens, Talbot Hotel Midleton, The Walter Raleigh, Summerfield B&B and An Stór Townhouse, demonstrating the breadth and collaboration of the Ring of Cork tourism network.
