Curraheen Park are delighted to announce that we will be open this year for Good Friday. It is our second year opening on Good Friday and we will be offering full bar facilities on the night. A number of racegoers have in recent years requested that greyhound racing take place on Good Friday as Friday night is a usual race night here at the stadium. We are confident as always that visitors will enjoy a truly great night with 10 live races and all our usual packages available on the night.
With Mother’s Day fast approaching, why not bring her for a meal with a difference! Our four course restaurant packages in The Laurels begin at just €33.87 and include admission and race card, as well as live greyhound racing with tableside tote and drinks service. Why not spoil her altogether and add on a few tote vouchers to surprise her with or even name a race after her!
We are kicking off the St. Patricks Day celebrations early this year! We will be racing on Saturday March 16th, make the most of the long weekend and join us for a few bets and drinks on the night!
Racing will also return to Curraheen Park on Thursday nights beginning March 21st. We will then return to our usual three nights of racing, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night with doors at 6.45 and first race at 7.50.

This Month we are thrilled with the grand return of The Annual Kudos Super Sprint Stake. This is the most prestigious Sprint Stake held in Curraheen Park every year and guarantees unrivalled sprinting super stars battling it out for a coveted place in the Final which is set this year for March 23rd. All heats leading up to the final will be running on Saturday nights. The Kudos Super Sprint will begin with 36 dogs which will be whittled down to the final 6 over 4 weeks – and not to forget what is up for grabs – a whopping €3,500 and trophy, as well as the grand title of Kudos Super Sprint 2013 Winner.
