After months of planning, Glanmire Heritage Society are all set for this year’s National Heritage Week (18th – 26th August). There are events for everyone so be sure to attend!

Tuesday 21st August

2.00 – 5.00 p.m. at Riverstown Community Centre

Talk by Mark Elmes on his cousin Mary Elmes from Cork who was awarded a medal in 2014
by the State of Israel for saving the lives of Jewish children from Nazi concentration camps
