Battle of the Celebrity Commentator!

Celebrities go head-to-head for charity on the 13th October, for the Semi-Finals of the Connolly’s Red Mills Irish Laurels. Six celebrities will try their hand at commentating, as judges Trevor Welch (TV3 & 96fm) and resident Curraheen Park commentators Sarina & Tim, pick the best.

Curraheen Park & Connolly’s Red Mills have both given €1,000 for the prizefund and the winner will receive €1,000 for their chosen charity, with the 4 runner-up charities each receiving €250.

Each of the six contestants have nominated a chosen charity, which you can support by purchasing admission for the night, in the name of your chosen charity. Book online, select Curraheen Park and Saturday 13th October, enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase and click ‘Book Now’. Under the €10 General Admission option, select your chosen charity and continue the booking process. The charity will receive €8 from each ticket sold.

Brian Purcell (TV3’s The Apprentice) – Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind

Emmet Kennedy (Cork’s 96fm DJ) – Mercy Hospital Foundation

Niall Cahalane (Former Cork Senior Footballer) – Debra Ireland

Carol Anthony (Singer / TV3’s Celebrity Salon) – Cork Girls Club

Mary Burke (Crystal Swing) – Penny Dinners

Come & cheer them on on Saturday 13th October – they’ll even be posing for photos with fans!

A Best Dressed Couple competition will take place on the same night, when Carol Anthony and Wilton Shopping Centre will pick the couple most deserving of the €1,500 to spend in Wilton Shopping Centre!
