ANNUAL 4 MILE RACE BALLINTOTIS – April 18th 2013

. Latest News on the 4 Mile Race at Ballintotis this Thursday evening. The following is just a reminder to make sure your shorts, t shirts and runners are ready for the annual 4 Mile Road Race at Ballintotis this Thursday evening. 6.30 sharp is the start time for the walkers and strollers and 8pm sharp is the start time for the runners. It is highly recommended that you register in advance ( see below ) to avoid the queue. Last year we had 736 participants – this year – who knows? – the weather looks promising and there is a great buzz about. Why not make a family evening of it, meet new people and enjoy the fresh food and refreshments provided by the community and sponsors after the race in the brand new community hall. For those who might be wondering where Ballintotis is – just travel three miles out of Midleton towards Castlemartyr on the N25 and you will find the race to the rear of the lake by Ballintotis Church on the right. Last year Midleton Chamber members provided tremendous support for the event – by participating in the walk and the run , stewarding and in donating sponsorship and prizes for the event and this year is proving to be no exception.
