The ‘Festival of The Year’ award winning Youghal Medieval Festival is back and better than ever this Summer.
Youghal will once again celebrate its renowned beauty, heritage, history and welcoming camaraderie with its celebrated and award winning Youghal Medieval Festival.
Youghal Medieval Festival is thirteen old this year and still the festival creates the excitement and anticipation that it held from the beginning.
The festival this year has been brought forward so that it now takes place on Sunday August 4th – the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend.
This year’s festival will be full of fun and excitement, and activities will include:
- Medieval re-enactors with their daily living, fun, games and battles
- Our Birds of Pray – get up close and personal for a picture with Eagle
- Strike up a resounding rhythm on the Community Drum – new for 2019
- Kiddies archaeological dig

- Artisan Foods Stands
- Art & Craft Stands
- Living working blacksmith
- New addition this year: ‘Farmyard in your Schoolyard’ – watch out for the alpacas wandering around!
