The Upper Glanmire StPatrick’s Day Parade starts at 3PM, with the main road through the village closed from 1:30PM to 5PM to facilitate the event. The parade features sports and school groups, steam engines, vintage cars, motorbikes and tractors. A park‑and‑ride system operates from White’s Cross and BrianDillon’s GAA pitches. Past parades have included distinguished Grand Marshals such as novelist Margaret Kelleher and provide entertainment for all ages.
