A story of adventure and divilment set on the River Blackwater Three Men In A Boat promises a night of laugh-a-minute, theatrical entertainment. From Cork based theatre company MINNOW, this stage adaptation of Jerome K Jerome’s comic novel Three Men In A Boat captures the humour and whimsicality of the original novel transforming it for modern theatre audiences to enjoy.
The play sees the hypochondriacal J and his two hapless friends rent a boat and take a trip down-river to get a break from their stressful lives. How they settled on a boat trip is up for debate, it seemed like a great idea at the time! They explore the watering holes, meet the locals and get up to all sorts of antics as they attempt to live the good life and reconnect with their Cork roots.
