Begun by a group of local volunteers concerned about the preservation of the Old Royal Yacht Club Building in 1987, Sirius Arts Centre now celebrates 25 years as an internationally renowned Irish arts organization, serving local, national and international audiences.
Sirius Arts Centre is named after the SS Sirius, the ship which made the first steam powered crossing of the Atlantic from Cork – New York.
Come and Celebrate with us and view exhibitions of both the SS Sirius ephemera and images illustrating the colourful history of this landmark event and a 25 year overview of the development of the Sirius Arts Centre.
Exhibition runs Friday 5 April – Sunday 7 April Gallery hours 11am – 5pm
