The hugely popular country singer Mike Denver has been selling out venues all over Ireland, both North and South. He and his band perform their first concert in Ballymaloe Grainstore on Wednesday 12 October with a show that will be a mix of Mike’s hits and country classics.
The ‘Galway Boy’ was named ‘Entertainer of the Year’ at the 2016 Irish Country Music Awards which surely suggests that Ballymaloe audiences are in for a fantastic night of music and fun.
Mike has recorded 14 hit albums and 10 DVDs. His debut album, ‘Wings to Fly ‘included tracks such as ‘You’re my Best Friend’, Johnny Cash’s ‘Cry Cry Cry’ and ‘It’s a Dream Come True.’ His other albums include ‘Love to live’, ‘Messenger Boy’, ‘Christmas Country’, ‘Galway Boy’, ‘Seasons in the Sun’, ‘Got a Funny Feeling, ‘Thank God for the Radio’, ‘Tradition’, ‘Vintage Country’ and most recently, ‘The Live Show – Double CD’.
