With an emphasis on Cork’s contribution to the 1916 Rising, the Southern Echoes exhibition focuses on four key Cork figures and the role played by particular organisations in activities of the time.

The ‘Southern Echoes of 1916’ exhibition focuses on four different subject areas and four important Cork figures, examining their involvement in the 1916 Rising and the role played by particular organisations in activities of the time. Figures included are Thomas Kent, Michael Collins, Diarmuid Lynch and Sean Hurley. The exhibition has been compiled using the resources of Cork County Library’s Local Studies library. Open Tuesday 23rd – Saturday 27th August, 09:30 – 17:30.
