Cobh is set for an influx of visitors this weekend with three events and a massive cruise ship full of passengers set to bring upwards of 10,000 visitors to the Harbour Town. The sold out Jailbreak Triathlon takes place on Saturday morning including the challenging swim from Ireland’s Alcatraz, Spike Island to Cobh. The Trad Sail Regatta features traditional sailing craft sailing in the Harbour on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday the Caribbean Princess will dominate the town and Cobh Summer Swing has entertainment for all and market stalls. Add in all of Cobh’s world class attractions and it’s the place to visit this weekend.
