About Carrigaline Playground
Carrigaline Playground (Clós Súgartha Carrig Uí Leighin) is a free, newly refurbished play space in Carrigaline Regional Park, close to the town centre. Reopened in July 2026 after a major €300,000 upgrade, it offers modern, inclusive play equipment for children of different ages in a welcoming community setting.

The playground is free to use and listed as open 24 hours. Daylight visits are recommended, children should be supervised, and visitors should follow all on-site safety notices.
Access is from Church Road within Carrigaline Regional Park, close to Carrigaline Community Centre/Complex. Parking is available nearby.
The upgraded playground reopened on 17 July 2026 following a community-led refurbishment supported by Cork County Council, SECAD, local sponsors and fundraising by the Carrigaline Playground Committee.
Please keep dogs outside the enclosed children’s play area and follow the signage for dogs in the wider park.
