Ballyhass Adventure Group – Coachford
About
Ballyhass is one of Ireland’s leading outdoor experience providers, offering over 15 different adventure activities such as Aquaparks, axe throwing, wakeboarding and so much more! We have two sites to explore, one just outside of Coachford town and another outside of Mallow, both include great facilities such as our café’s serving pizza, treats and tea and coffee. No matter what the activity, our specially trained instructors are ready to guide you, or your group regardless of your ability or level. We focus on four main groups: Water, Height, Land, and special events such as hen parties or corporate days out. Have a read below for a taste of some of our activities.
Up in the sky’s in Coachford sits our wonderful High Nets Course sitting 10 meters high off the ground. Have a chance to climb, bounce and play in the course designed for young and old. The High Nets are great for team-building exercises so remember to check it out with your work, sport, or friend group.
The Lee Valley is one of the most beautiful sites to see in Cork. It gets its name from the River Lee which starts in West Cork and flows through Cork leading into the sea at Cork city harbour. Explore the nature and wildlife of the Valley with one of our kayaking tours. With the Explore Tour kayak to Carrignadrohid Castle and with the right conditions even paddle around it! The tour covers a 2.5km stretch of the river, stopping for a quick snack at the castle which is one of only two built over water in the whole of Europe! If you are looking for something less focused on distance our Family Tour is perfect for you, kayak around the Lee Valley, play games and look at nature as you explore this lake. This tour is perfect for kids over 8 and groups that want to learn some kayaking skills or just relax on the water.
Both Ballyhass sites are beautiful, and steeped with history and nature, guaranteeing that your day out with us will leave you with everlasting memories. By booking our Adventure Pass you can avail of discounts of summer camps, group days out, and almost every activity on both sites.
