Coopering Demonstration with Whiskey & Wine Masterclass at the Hunted Hog

Ger Buckley, 5th Generation Master Cooper at Midleton Distillery and Britt Frost, Irish Distillers Wine Ambassadorwill pair up to deliver a masterclass like no other. Ger will showcase his extraordinary skills with wood and provide a tasting of the finest Irish Whiskies from Midleton including his very own, Jameson Coopers Croze Whiskey whilst Britt will provide a tasting on an Australian Cabernet Sauvignon wine finished in casks from Midleton.

Enjoy canapes prepared by Owen Davidson, Hunted Hog Executive Chef. Some of the finest local East Cork
produce on display.

Ballycotton seaweed cured salmon, Coopers Croze wholemeal soda bread with fennel pollen cream Cliffords slow roasted hog belly, crispy hog crackling, cured hog and apple jam. Black Barrel chicken and mushroom rillette, crispy walnut toastwith a fig chutney. 9 hour beef featherblade, yorkshire pudding, Guinness reduction, onion marmalade with grated horseradish. Raspberry and Double Barrel wine syllabub, lemon shortbread and white chocolate.
