Crosshaven House

Crosshaven House is an elegant eighteenth century country house set in the picturesque village of Crosshaven, overlooking Currabinny Wood and Cork Harbour. It is where the spaciousness and elegance of the Georgian age is combined with the comforts of modern living.

The spacious and elegant reception rooms are complimented by the 5 separate suites on the upper floors, offering the height of luxury with a homely and comfortable feel. Catering equally well for wedding parties or families, you will be assured a stay to remember.

The suites in the main house are as follows:
The Hayes Suite – Named in memory of the Hayes family who built and resided in Crosshaven House for over 200 years. This spacious and orate suite boasts panoramic views of Currabinny Wood and Cork Harbour. This luxurious suite enjoys a King size four poster bed, reading area, cast iron bath and shower.

The Pierse Suite – In memory of Colonel Pierse Hayes, Royal Engineers, the last owner of the Hayes family to reside at Crosshaven House. This suite enjoys commanding harbour and garden views, Queen size four poster bed, relaxing and reading area, cast iron bath and shower.

The Family Suite – Ideal for a family wishing to spend quality time together. This suite is split over three rooms, kids, parents and bathroom. It also enjoys a kitchenette, shower and jacuzzi.

The Sandpiper Suite – Themed after the local sea birds that can be found searching for food along the Owenabue River during low tide. This suite enjoys harbour views, a Queen size bed as well as a reading area, cast iron bath and shower.

The Lavender Suite – Named after the lavender plants that grow in the front garden of Crosshaven House, this suite enjoys harbour and village views. This suite is complemented with a luxurious double bed, reading area and generous bathroom.

Also separately available is our bohemian semi basement, 51 Degrees North.

Three nautical themed dorms accommodate 14 persons, hand-crafted bunk-beds are in New-England style and are complemented with curtains giving a sense of privacy. A private 9 seater cinema and sauna are exclusively yours to unwind and the well appointed country style kitchen is at your very own disposal.
