The final event to close out the Music Festival will be the Songs of Praise Service on Sunday, 17 September which will run from 4-5.30pm. This is the first major fundraiser organised by the Cloyne Round Tower Restoration Committee, which consists of members of Cloyne’s business community, Midleton & Area Chamber of Commerce, Ballymaloe House and Dean Alan Marley of Cloyne Cathedral. The proceeds from this festival will go towards the restoration of Cloyne’s 30-metre tall sandstone round tower, which is one of only two in County Cork.
